General Surgery
Abdulkadir Bedirli graduated from Istanbul Medical Faculty in 1988. He completed his specialty education at Erciyes University General Surgery Department between 1992-1997 and became a General Surgery specialist. Becoming an Associate Professor at Gazi University, Department of General Surgery in 2005, Dr. Bedirli received the title of Professor in 2010. Between 2008-2011, he worked as the Deputy Chief Physician and the operating room coordinator at Gazi University Hospital.

He worked as a coordinator in the establishment of Gazi University Laparoscopic Surgery Center in 2010 and became the founding director of the Center in 2011. During this time, he completed the program in France-Elancourt and received a trainer certificate. Dr. Bedirli completed the Robotic Surgery certification program in Strasbourg in 2011 and became a console surgeon. He then performed the first robotic surgery operation at Gazi University General Surgery Clinic in 2011. Since then, he has successfully applied robotic surgery to over 200 patients, mainly due to colon-rectal cancers and obesity. Receiving the title of Surgical Oncology Specialist in 2012, Dr. Bedirli has 52 international publications, 47 domestic publications, 78 papers presented at international congresses, 68 papers presented at national congresses, 5 book chapters and a book editor. |
